Welcome to HardCore Code

The official tournament ran from the 23rd September at 1AM to the 7th October at 1AM!

We have now shut down the tournament rounds for exams, so the submission tests will not run.

Prizes

Open to all students is a total of R2000 kindly sponsored by Entelect
These prizes are broken into academic years:

  • Top first year: R500
  • Top second year: R500
  • Top third year: R500
  • Top post-grad: R500

Then, just for our faithful RUCUS members, a total of R1500:

  • Top RUCUS member: R600
  • Second RUCUS member: R500
  • Third RUCUS member: R400

Lastly

We will hopefully open it up again after exams (for the long vacation) so that you can refine your strategies and keep your mind active over the holiday, but the developer team will not be doing much work on it. We will hopefully try do another competition next year sometime, but the future of HCC is as of yet undecided.
